Experiencing the Spirit of Faith - PT 2
"And since we have the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, "I believed and therefore I spoke," we also believe and therefore speak" (2 Cor. 4:13).
We HAVE the Spirit of Faith If we are born-again and Christ Jesus is in us (Gal. 2:20) we already have the spirit of faith. In knowing that, we need to understand two things: 1) We have the same Spirit of faith Jesus has; 2) This spirit of faith speaks. We can tell what you really believe by what you say. And since we have the spirit of faith, there are some things that we will say.
The grace of God, the plan of God and the anointing of God is on our lives, and within these jars of clary, inside of our born-again spirits we have the Spirit of Christ, the glory of God, the light of God, the nature of God, the victory of Christ, the power of God, the Promise of God, the purpose of God, the love of God, and the fullness of God (2 Cor. 4:6-18). God is living on the inside of God. Yet in this world we will have tribulation (Jn. 16:33; 2 Cor. 4:8-9), but we are not destroyed. In this life we are going to have challenges, but because we have the spirit of faith, we will not stop believing God and our spirit of faith will not stop speaking. In the spirit of faith we are going to continue saying what God says about us and our situation.
We will not faint but we will be renewed day by day (2 Cor. 4:16). We must resolve in our hearts that we are not going to look at what is seen (the problem) but to only see and speak the Eternal Promises of God.
The spirit of faith is the spirit of power, the spirit of love, and the spirit of sound mind (2 Cor. 1:7). In the spirit of faith we will not shrink back in fear. We are going to live by our faith. We are not going to give our fears any thought saying (Matthew 6), instead our spirit of faith is going to speak the Word of Truth. Like David we will face our Goliath's in the Name of the Lord and in the power of His might. It is not in absence of problems that we succeed but it is the Presence of the Promise that we will prevail.
