Join us on Sunday mornings as we discover afresh The Essence of Maturity:

As a church our mission is to enable you to become established in your identity, equipped in His Word and empowered to fulfill your destiny.  We believe that is why we exist. My purpose as a pastor is "for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the Body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ." (Eph. 4:11-13)

Healthy things grow. God desires for us to grow up in Him – to be mature.  God wants us to grow in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ (2 Pt. 3:18).

Those who are mature are established in who they are in Christ. They are equipped in His Word. So they may be empowered to fulfill their destiny. Those who are mature can reproduce and edify one another in love (Eph. 4:16).

We were born again by His grace, the Incorruptible Seed of Christ. God wants us to grow in grace, allowing His Seed to germinate and reproduce the fruits of righteousness in our lives. God wants us to grow up and become mature in Him so that we may be oaks of righteousness that He may be glorified. Jesus is glorified when our lives bears fruit.

I believe one of the greatest Trojan horses in the church today is immaturity. Because many precious people in the Body of Christ are not established in their identity and equipped in His Word they have become like children, tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine and the sleigh of men (Eph. 4:14). The enemy will easily prey on those who are immature and un-established in their faith in His grace.

God’s plan for us, individually and corporately as a church, is that we grow and develop spiritually. Immaturity in the church has been on the increase in recent generations, and many pastors do little to address the issue. It is time for us to stand up and grow up! Our church life and culture must facilitate those things that are conducive for spiritual growth and maturity, especially in these last days that are upon us.
